Flash is a multimedia format developed by Adobe Macromedia, which has come a long way since its inception. It is usually comprises of three components: a player, a file format, and an authoring tool. Flash allows web designers and developers to create animations and interactive movies or images that can be embedded into a web page. In earlier years, flash was mostly used in the development of vector based animations, which means that flash movies have small file sizes and that they could be downloaded and rapidly played over the Internet. With all of these capabilities and features, web designers now build pre-designed flash templates so that people and organizations could have a flash based websites easily. They even offer free usage of some flash templates through their Free Flash Templates.
